- Manage and lead a team of procurement and logistics professionals, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, bidding, and contract management, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency in procurement and logistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, engineering, and finance, to support their needs and ensure alignment with procurement and logistics strategies.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on procurement and logistics performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement and logistics activities.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and logistics, and make recommendations for improvement to senior management.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Procurement And Logistics, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Engineering Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Global Supply Chain Management And Logistics Operations, Including Import/Export Regulations And Customs Clearance Procedures.
Experience In Negotiating Contracts And Managing Supplier Relationships.
Proficiency In Procurement Software, Such As Sap, And Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
