Job Description

ABB is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Powertrain Vibration Engineer to join our innovative and dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and validating designs to reduce vibration and noise in powertrain systems.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or similar, and at least 5 years' experience in vibration engineering and noise control. You must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and be comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment. You will also need a good understanding of dynamics, vibration, testing, and modal analysis.If you have a passion for innovation and are looking for a challenging role at a world leader in the engineering industry, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering

  • Advanced Degree In Mechanical Engineering/Vibration Analysis/Control System/Mechatronics Or Related Field

  • + Years Of Experience In Vibration Analysis

  • Structural/Mechanical Analysis Experience

  • Knowledge Of Dynamics And Vibration Theory

  • Proficiency In Using Vibration Analysis Tools Such As Matlab

  • Ansys

  • Etc

  • Experienced In Designing

  • Testing

  • And Validating Powertrain Systems

  • Working Knowledge Of Vehicle Systems And Components
