
Key Account Manager
Establishes and develops account relationships based on a defined strategy with the customer. Monitors customer claims as well as plans, facilitates, and conducts customer negotiations. Develops, maintains, and shares detailed knowledge of the customer’s business strategy, purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, customer business drivers, economic trends and competition. Participates in the development of sales strategies for account by providing the customer’s current business and long-term plans. Provides input on the development and implementation of the account plan to include designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans by prioritizing the opportunities and identifying a target for each solution element. (Provides input on the development and implementation). Proposes recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.
Minimum of 10 years sales experience with a minimum of 3 years of Key Account Management.
Leadership experience with global and local teams and reporting to senior management.
Practical experience with strategic selling tools and methodology in growing key accounts
Position requires the ability to travel an average of 50% of the time during a typical work week
