Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IS Service Manager to join our dynamic team at ABB.   1. Oversee the Information Services department, including managing a team of IT professionals and ensuring efficient operation of all IT systems and services.
  2. Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to support the overall business objectives of ABB.
  3. Monitor and manage the performance of IT services, ensuring they meet the needs and expectations of clients.
  4. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize IT operations and services.
  5. Manage the budget and resources of the Information Services department, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and develop solutions to support their goals.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the timely and effective delivery of IT services.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure ABB is utilizing the most efficient and innovative IT solutions.
  9. Lead and motivate the IS team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high levels of performance and job satisfaction.
  10. Communicate regularly with senior management, providing updates on IT operations, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  11. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations and policies.
  12. Act as a point of escalation for IT-related issues and provide timely resolution and communication to stakeholders.
  13. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the availability of critical IT systems and services.
  14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
  15. Develop and maintain documentation and reports related to IT operations, services, and performance metrics for management review.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Managing It Services, Preferably In A Large Organization.

  • Strong Technical Background And Understanding Of Various It Systems, Including Hardware, Software, And Networking.

  • Experience In Project Management And Implementing It Service Improvement Initiatives.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
