  1. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of information security policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct research and analysis on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  3. Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize potential security risks.
  4. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of security controls and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness training for employees.
  6. Participate in security incident response and assist with incident management.
  7. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to information security.
  9. Support the team in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
  10. Prepare and present reports on information security metrics and findings to relevant stakeholders.
  11. Contribute to the development of security policies, standards, and procedures.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of new and existing systems.
  13. Participate in security risk assessments and help identify potential areas of improvement.
  14. Support the team in responding to client and regulatory inquiries on information security practices.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to information security processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Information Security Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Information Security Principles, Including Risk Assessment, Access Control, And Incident Response. This Knowledge Can Be Demonstrated Through Coursework, Certifications, Or Relevant Work Experience.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards: Abb Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And Therefore, It Is Essential For The Information Security Intern To Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Pci Dss.

  • Technical Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Technical Skills In Areas Such As Network Security, Encryption, And Vulnerability Scanning. Experience With Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Firewalls And Intrusion Detection Systems, Is Also Highly Desirable.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As An Information Security Intern, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Security Issues. Therefore, Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential To Succeed In This Role.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As They Will Be Required To Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders. Additionally, The Ability To Document Security Policies, Procedures, And Incidents Is A Crucial Aspect Of This Role.
