The Industrial Engineer, will develop the standards, processes, and schedules, and utilize the resources to improve production, maintenance, or related operations within the Motion Business Area. It also encompasses work distribution and simplify the process flow and section layout. Develop and update assembly instructions to support new product, current product, and ECN’s (Engineering Change Notification). Identify methods to ensure standardized work is followed and reduce process variation. Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities. Evaluate need and design for improved material handling processes and equipment. Maintain detailed action registry of current and future tasks to prioritize work.
