- Develop and implement project controlling strategies and processes to ensure successful execution of projects globally.
- Oversee and manage project budgets, costs, and financial performance to ensure projects are delivered within budget and meet financial targets.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on financial management, including cost estimation, forecasting, and risk assessment.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, efficiencies, and best practices.
- Manage and lead a team of project controllers, providing mentorship, coaching, and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
- Analyze project data and prepare reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to project controlling and make recommendations for incorporating them into the company's processes.
- Represent ABB in client meetings and negotiations related to project financials.

Relevant Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Project Controlling, Preferably In A Global Environment. This Experience Should Include Managing Large-Scale Projects With A Diverse Team And Stakeholders From Different Countries And Cultures.
Strong Analytical Skills: A Global Project Controlling Lead Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial And Cost Control Principles, As Well As The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Complex Project Data. This Includes Proficiency In Project Management Software And Advanced Excel Skills.
Multicultural Competence: As Abb Operates In Over 100 Countries, The Global Project Controlling Lead Should Have Strong Cross-Cultural Communication And Collaboration Skills. This Includes The Ability To Work Effectively With Colleagues And Stakeholders From Diverse Backgrounds.
Leadership Abilities: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team, As Well As The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members. They Should Also Possess Strong Decision-Making Skills And The Ability To Handle Conflicts And Challenges In A Global Project Environment.
