1. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all ABB facilities globally.
2. Develop and implement facility maintenance and improvement plans to ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of all facilities.
3. Manage facility budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize cost savings and optimize facility performance.
4. Lead a team of technicians and other facility staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and building codes and regulations.
6. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility maintenance, repairs, and construction projects.
7. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the organization to understand their facility needs and provide appropriate solutions.
9. Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Finance, to ensure facility needs are met and aligned with overall business objectives.
10. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facility management and implement them within ABB facilities.
11. Prepare and present reports on facility performance, maintenance costs, and any significant issues or improvements.
12. Continuously seek ways to improve facility processes, procedures, and operations to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
