In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing strategies, and driving efficiencies to ensure our Motors division operates at peak performance.   1. Identify and analyze opportunities for process improvement within the Motors division of ABB.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
  3. Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process improvements and make necessary adjustments.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of process improvements.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on process optimization and provide guidance and support to team members.
  7. Develop and maintain metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Train and coach employees on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in process improvement and implement them as appropriate.
  10. Communicate progress and results of continuous improvement efforts to senior management.
  11. Identify and manage potential risks and obstacles to process improvement initiatives.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive a mindset of operational excellence throughout the Motors division.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and divisions to share best practices and leverage resources for continuous improvement.
  14. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of process improvements and their impact on the business.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: Abb Requires A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Industrial Management, Or A Related Field For The Role Of Continuous Improvement Manager Motors. This Education Provides A Strong Foundation In Technical Knowledge And Problem-Solving Skills Necessary For The Position.

  • Extensive Experience In Continuous Improvement: Abb Seeks Candidates With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Driving Continuous Improvement Initiatives Within A Manufacturing Or Engineering Environment. This Experience Should Include Implementing Lean Six Sigma Methodologies, Leading Process Improvement Projects, And Driving A Culture Of Continuous Improvement.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Motors And Drives: As A Continuous Improvement Manager Motors, A Thorough Understanding Of Motors And Drives Is Critical To Success. Abb Looks For Candidates With A Deep Understanding Of Motor And Drive Technology, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Optimize These Systems.

  • Project Management Skills: Abb Values Candidates Who Have Proven Project Management Experience, Including The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams, Set Project Timelines And Milestones, And Manage Project Budgets. The Continuous Improvement Manager Motors Will Be Responsible For Coordinating And Implementing Improvement Projects, Making Project Management Skills Essential.
