Job Description

You will study business performance, including financial modelling to forecast the impacts and risks, and recommend areas for continuous improvement. This position provides general and cost accounting support to the Controller of the facility. Reconcile the Goods Receipts to Accounts Payable. Review Accounts Payable Sharepoint Site. Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet Accounts. Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations and schedules used in financial reporting. Manage the capital expenditure process including budget monitoring and management. Facilitate monthly capital spending meetings, capital spending expense tracking, preparing and presenting reports. Assist with Internal/External Audit reports. Assists in implementation and compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley controls.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to multi-task, manage strategic priorities, work under pressure and meet business/project deadlines required.

  • Self-motivated and willingness to interact on operations floor with engineering, maintenance and operators to better understand the various assets.
