  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the Americas region, in line with ABB's global objectives and goals.
  2. Identify market trends and opportunities, and lead initiatives to capitalize on them for business growth.
  3. Drive sales and revenue targets for the Americas region, and monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure success.
  4. Manage and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to meet individual and team targets.
  5. Foster cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as product development and operations, to ensure efficient and effective execution of business plans.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the Americas, and work towards enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  7. Keep abreast of industry developments and competitor activities, and make recommendations for proactive measures to maintain ABB's competitive edge.
  8. Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and drive consistency across regions.
  9. Monitor and manage budget and expenses related to the Americas business, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  10. Represent ABB at industry events and conferences, and act as a brand ambassador for the company in the Americas region.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  12. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates and reports on business performance and initiatives.
  13. Uphold ABB's values and ethical standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Category Management, Preferably In A Multinational Company.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Americas Market And Experience Working With Diverse Cultures And Business Practices.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Category Strategies That Drive Cost Savings And Improve Supplier Performance.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Internal Stakeholders And External Suppliers.
