Previous Retail Experience: A Store Associate At 99 Cents Only Stores Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Similar Role. This Will Ensure That They Are Familiar With The Day-To-Day Operations Of A Store And Can Quickly Adapt To The Company's Processes And Procedures.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Store Associate, One Of The Main Responsibilities Is To Provide Excellent Customer Service To All Shoppers. This Requires Strong Communication Skills, A Friendly Demeanor, And The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations With Patience And Professionalism.
Cash Handling Experience: Since Store Associates Are Responsible For Processing Payments And Handling Cash Transactions, It Is Important For Them To Have Previous Experience Handling Money.
