- Coordinate with various departments, including purchasing, transportation, and distribution, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to stores.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Analyze sales data and forecasting reports to make informed decisions regarding inventory levels and product assortment.
- Implement and maintain procedures for efficient and accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
- Collaborate with store managers to resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess inventory levels and identify any potential issues or opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Maintain and update inventory management systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of products.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators related to logistics, such as on-time delivery and inventory accuracy, and report any issues or trends to upper management.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve logistics processes, optimize efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines related to logistics operations.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by promptly addressing any logistics-related concerns or issues from store managers or customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in logistics and make recommendations for improvement to upper management.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Logistics Or Supply Chain Management.
Strong Knowledge Of Transportation And Distribution Processes, Including Freight Forwarding And Customs Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Logistics Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
