- Open and close the store according to scheduled shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves and displays.
- Train and supervise store associates in daily tasks and provide guidance as needed.
- Ensure store cleanliness and organization, including restrooms, break rooms, and sales floor.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure store environment.
- Collaborate with store management and other key holders to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing the company and its values.
- Continuously seek opportunities for self-improvement and provide feedback to management for store improvement.
Retail Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Retail Experience, Preferably In A Key Holder Or Management Role, Is Required For This Position. This Experience Should Include Cash Handling, Inventory Management, And Customer Service.
Leadership Skills: The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Is A Crucial Qualification For A Key Holder At 99 Cents Only Stores. This Includes Setting Expectations, Delegating Tasks, And Providing Feedback To Team Members.
Strong Communication Skills: Key Holders Must Have Excellent Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Team Members. This Includes Being Able To Handle Difficult Situations And Provide Excellent Customer Service.
Organizational Skills: Key Holders Are Responsible For Managing Store Operations, Including Inventory Control, Scheduling, And Cash Handling. The Ability To Stay Organized And Prioritize Tasks Is Essential For Success In This Role.
Dependability And Flexibility: The Key Holder Is A Crucial Member Of The Store Team And Must Be Dependable And Flexible. This Includes Being Able To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Nights And Weekends, And Being Available For Last-Minute Schedule Changes.
