Job Description

As a Store Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our store.   1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
  2. Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed by all employees to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  3. Manage and oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
  4. Train and supervise employees to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
  6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Utilize sales techniques to promote products and increase store revenue.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, including restocking shelves, cleaning counters, and ensuring all products are properly displayed.
  9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including food safety regulations, to maintain a safe and sanitary store environment.
  10. Collaborate with other store operators and upper management to develop and implement strategies for store growth and success.
  11. Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee schedules.
  12. Continuously strive to improve store operations and customer satisfaction.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities to make strategic business decisions.
  14. Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by upper management.

Job Qualifications
  • Retail Experience: A Store Operator At 7-Eleven Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Convenience Store Setting. This Will Ensure That They Have A Good Understanding Of The Day-To-Day Operations And Customer Service Required For The Job.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Store Operator, You Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Employees And Ensuring That The Store Runs Smoothly. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Motivate Employees, And Handle Any Conflicts That May Arise.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Necessary For A Store Operator To Effectively Interact With Customers, Employees, And Upper Management. This Includes Being Able To Communicate Clearly And Professionally, As Well As Active Listening Skills.

  • Financial Management Skills: The Store Operator Is Responsible For Managing The Store's Finances, Including Cash Handling, Inventory Management, And Budgeting. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Strong Math Skills And The Ability To Analyze Financial Reports.
