Job Description

You have a passion for hands-on coding, defining product backlog and putting the customer first and delivering an exceptional experience through the creation of extensible and re-usable products & services. You will be helping to innovate, POC, and work in development/agile teams at 7-Eleven along with the Technical Lead/Manager, other software Engineers. Innovation, assessing requirements that are said and unsaid, performing proof of concept, developing solution and code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders. Leads the work of other small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects by proving pertinent documents, direction, and examples. Identifying short- and long-term solutions and timeline; reviewing and providing feedback for proposed solutions; and performing design and code reviews of changes. Actively engages in product and business discussions with a technical eye for feasibility and adherence/defining overall roadmaps and architectural strategy.

Job Qualifications

  • 7-10 years, System Design Skills and Experience in web based large scale enterprise application.

  • Hands-on Development skills and usage of Key Technologies

  • Mentorship of Junior level engineers make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services and applications at scale.

  • Stays on the leading edge of software development tools and best practices.
