As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring our stores are always in top-notch condition for our customers.   1. Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and facilities to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
  2. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store managers and address any issues in a timely manner.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, including but not limited to refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
  4. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management.
  5. Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and supplies for equipment repairs.
  6. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed while performing maintenance tasks.
  7. Work with store managers to schedule maintenance tasks during non-operational hours to minimize disruption to business operations.
  8. Use technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects and tasks.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to store managers and employees when addressing maintenance concerns.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new equipment to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
  14. Communicate any maintenance-related concerns or issues to management in a timely and professional manner.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Maintenance Technician At 7-Eleven Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, To Ensure They Have The Basic Educational Background Required For The Job.

  • Technical Or Vocational Certification: Possessing A Technical Or Vocational Certification In A Relevant Field Such As Electrical, Plumbing, Or Hvac Is Highly Desirable For A Maintenance Technician At 7-Eleven. This Demonstrates A Level Of Specialized Knowledge And Skills That Are Necessary For The Job.

  • Previous Maintenance Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Previous Experience In A Maintenance Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Commercial Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate A Familiarity With The Types Of Equipment And Systems Common In 7-Eleven Stores.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Maintenance Technicians At 7-Eleven Will Encounter A Variety Of Technical Issues And Problems That Require Quick Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills. Candidates Should Have A Track Record Of Being Able To Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues Efficiently.

  • Ability To Work Independently: A Maintenance Technician At 7-Eleven Must Be Able To Work Independently And Manage Their Time Effectively. This Requires A High Level Of Self-Motivation And The Ability To Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
