The Operations Intern position is intended to give college students, with practical experience within Speedway’s convenience stores and to expose them to the variety of careers available within the retail industry. This is an innovative and demanding program offering highly motivated students the opportunity to refine their skills and gain new experiences. After spending time with a variety of field support personnel, shadowing a District Manager will round out the training. Running store registers; providing customer service. Checking in vendors and processing inventory. Support store within area of responsibility. General store operations and managerial duties; manage business for a short time.
