Demand Planning Analyst

Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. Experience managing cross-functional projects with tight deadlines. Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. Prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to detail and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions. Responsible for coordinating flow of information between the buying team and vendors, as well as between Inventory Management and Merchandising teams.
