- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Learn and understand the company's policies, procedures, and standards to effectively train and lead team members.
- Assist the Store Leader in managing daily operations and ensuring the store is running smoothly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment to provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Learn and implement inventory management procedures to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
- Train and supervise team members to maintain high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding process for new employees.
- Learn and implement food safety and sanitation standards to ensure the safety and quality of products.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance leadership and management skills.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure team members do the same.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve store operations and customer service.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For Consideration For This Position.
Retail Experience: Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role, Is Preferred. This Experience Should Demonstrate Strong Customer Service Skills, The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks, And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Leadership Skills: As An Assistant Store Leader Trainee, You Will Be Expected To Assist The Store Leader In Managing And Developing A Team Of Employees. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Such As Effective Communication, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Availability For Flexible Scheduling: 7-Eleven Stores Are Open 24/7, And The Assistant Store Leader Trainee May Be Required To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays. Candidates Must Be Able To Demonstrate Availability And Flexibility In Their Schedule.
Basic Math And Computer Skills: As An Assistant Store Leader Trainee, You Will Be Responsible For Managing Cash Transactions, Inventory, And Other Store Operations. Basic Math And Computer Skills Are Necessary To Perform These Tasks Accurately And Efficiently.
