- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.

Relevant Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For The Position, With Preference Given To Candidates Who Have Completed A Technical Or Vocational Program In Wastewater Treatment. Additional Certifications, Such As A Class I Or Ii Wastewater Operator License, Are Also Desirable.
Experience In Wastewater Treatment: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Wastewater Treatment Plant, Preferably In A Similar Role. They Should Be Familiar With Operating And Maintaining Various Equipment And Systems Used In Wastewater Treatment, As Well As Troubleshooting Common Issues.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Standards: Wastewater Operators Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Regulations Related To Wastewater Treatment And Disposal. This Includes Knowledge Of Permit Requirements, Sampling And Testing Procedures, And Reporting Standards.
Mechanical And Technical Skills: The Job Requires The Ability To Operate, Maintain, And Repair A Variety Of Mechanical And Electrical Equipment Used In Wastewater Treatment, Such As Pumps, Valves, Motors, And Control Systems.
