- Develop and implement sustainability and compliance strategies for 3M's global supply chain.
- Stay updated on all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and ensure 3M's compliance with them.
- Conduct thorough reviews and audits of 3M's supply chain to identify any potential sustainability or compliance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices and ensure compliance throughout the supply chain.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance on supply chain and EHS matters to internal stakeholders, including senior management.

- Monitor and analyze industry trends and best practices to continuously improve 3M's supply chain and EHS processes.
- Communicate and train employees at all levels on supply chain and EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Manage and resolve any supply chain and EHS-related legal disputes or issues that may arise.
- Act as a strong advocate for ethical and responsible business practices within the supply chain and promote a culture of sustainability and compliance throughout the organization.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree: A Supply Chain And Ehs Counsel At 3M Should Possess A Law Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Will Ensure A Strong Foundation In Legal Principles And Practices, Which Are Critical In Providing Legal Counsel For Supply Chain And Ehs Matters.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain And Ehs Law: 3M Requires Candidates To Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain And Ehs Law, Preferably In A Corporate Setting. This Will Demonstrate The Ability To Handle Complex Legal Issues And Provide Effective Counsel In This Specific Area.
Knowledge Of Supply Chain And Ehs Regulations: A Strong Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Supply Chain And Ehs Is Crucial For This Role. Candidates Should Be Familiar With Federal, State, And Local Laws, As Well As Industry-Specific Regulations.
