- Design and develop control systems for various products in 3M's portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of control systems.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the most effective control system solutions.
- Test and troubleshoot control systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest control system technologies and incorporate them into product designs.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation of control system designs and processes.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of control system projects.
- Train and mentor junior control systems engineers.
- Identify and address any issues or risks related to control systems and propose solutions.
- Participate in product development meetings and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary control system components.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards in the design and implementation of control systems.
- Continuously improve and optimize control system processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate and present control system designs and updates to stakeholders and clients.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for control systems within the company.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
5+ Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Control Systems In A Manufacturing Environment.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C++, Java, Or Python.
Extensive Knowledge Of Control System Hardware And Software, Including Plcs, Hmis, And Scada Systems.
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Control System Issues.
