  1. Design and develop control systems for 3M's diverse range of products, utilizing the latest technologies and techniques.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify control system needs and requirements, and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in current control systems and propose and implement enhancements.
  4. Lead and participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and concepts for control system development.
  5. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control systems and incorporate them into 3M's product development processes.
  7. Perform thorough testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions in control systems, both independently and in collaboration with other team members.
  9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers in the team, sharing knowledge and expertise to help them grow and develop.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, clients, and other teams, to provide updates on project status and progress.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as safety standards, when designing, developing, and implementing control systems.
  12. Continuously strive for excellence and identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency in control system development.
  13. Represent 3M and its values in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally.
  14. Collaborate with other senior engineers to align control system development efforts with 3M's overall goals and strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Control Systems Design And Implementation

  • Expertise In Programming Languages Such As C++, Java, Or Python

  • Strong Knowledge Of Control System Software And Hardware, Including Plcs And Hmis

  • Ability To Lead A Team And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously
