Portfolio Manager

You will serve as a fiduciary and will be responsible for managing the majority of 3M’s $4.0 billion in private investments in the US and most significant international retirement portfolios. The person holding this position will report directly to the President of 3M IMC and will be recommended to the board of 3M IMC, 3M’s investment subsidiary and named fiduciary of the U.S. retirement plans, to serve as an officer of the organization. Developing private market investment strategy for major 3M retirement plans. Leading, sourcing, conducting due diligence and recommending investment decisions in private markets including private equity, hedge funds and private credit in U.S. retirement plans and several international plans. Managing certain external relationships with private investment strategic partners. Being a senior leader of the investment team, providing important input into strategic asset liability management objectives and portfolio decisions through the organization’s investment committee process.
