- Conduct innovative research and development in the field of optics to drive advancements in 3M products and solutions.
- Utilize scientific principles and experimental techniques to design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and draw conclusions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research needs and develop new ideas and concepts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in optics and related fields to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Advanced Degree In Physics, Optics, Or A Related Field
Extensive Experience Conducting Research In Optics, Preferably In An Industrial Or Commercial Setting
Strong Understanding Of Optical Principles And Technologies, Including Lasers, Imaging Systems, And Spectroscopy
Proficiency In Data Analysis And Interpretation, Using Tools Such As Matlab, Python, Or Labview
Ability To Design And Execute Complex Experiments, And To Troubleshoot And Solve Technical Problems Independently.
