  1. Develop and maintain an efficient maintenance schedule for all equipment and machinery at 3M facilities.
  2. Coordinate with various departments to gather information and plan maintenance activities accordingly.
  3. Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues that may require maintenance.
  4. Create and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment downtime.
  5. Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to develop effective maintenance strategies.
  6. Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of equipment and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards during maintenance activities.
  8. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and optimize efficiency.
  9. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts and materials for maintenance activities.
  10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.
  11. Train and mentor new maintenance team members on planning and scheduling best practices.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology to improve maintenance practices at 3M.
  13. Monitor and control maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  14. Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  15. Collaborate with production and operations teams to plan maintenance activities without impacting production schedules.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Maintenance Planning: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Maintenance Planning, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Maintenance Systems: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Maintenance Management Systems Such As Sap, Cmms, Or Other Relevant Software.

  • Technical Expertise: A Maintenance Planner Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical And/Or Instrumentation Systems, As Well As Knowledge Of Preventive Maintenance Practices.

  • Organizational And Time Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, As Well As The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Communication And Teamwork: The Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams To Ensure Efficient Maintenance Planning And Execution.
