Job Description

3M is seeking a Machine Operator for the Industrial Adhesive & Tape Division. Follow safe work procedures and safety policies including grounding and usage of personal protective equipment. Report all safety hazards to supervisor or lead person. Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Engage in Plant continuous improvement and problem solving. Inspect web for defects per standard and take corrective action as needed. Adjust coater as needed to produce material that meets coating specifications including blades, speed, tensions, temperatures, compound levels, tram, etc. Prepare and place identification tickets on all coated rolls and return-to-stock materials.
