As a Laboratory Technician at 3M, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented and diverse group of individuals in our state-of-the-art laboratories. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various tests and experiments to support our research and development efforts.   1. Conduct various tests and experiments in a laboratory setting to support research and development efforts.
  2. Ensure accuracy and precision in all tests and experiments by following established protocols and procedures.
  3. Record and analyze data, and communicate findings to team members and superiors.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute experiments and projects.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace, including proper storage and disposal of materials.
  6. Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to technical problems that may arise during experiments.
  7. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in laboratory techniques and equipment.
  9. Assist in the development and optimization of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
  10. Keep detailed records of experiments, data, and results for future reference.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and superiors to provide updates on progress and findings.
  12. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the company by actively participating in team meetings and discussions.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical standards and confidentiality.
  15. Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field Such As Chemistry, Biology, Or Biochemistry.

  • Proficiency In Using Laboratory Equipment And Instruments, Including But Not Limited To Spectrophotometers, Microscopes, And Pipettes.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Follow Strict Protocols And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Independently And Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
