  1. Develop and implement governance, compliance, and contract management strategies and policies in alignment with 3M's mission and values.
  2. Monitor and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, laws, and contracts at the local, national, and global levels.
  3. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  4. Serve as the main point of contact for all governance, compliance, and contract-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to internal teams.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs to promote a culture of compliance and ethical business practices.
  6. Review and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and business partners to ensure compliance with 3M's policies and procedures.
  7. Proactively identify and address potential compliance risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure 3M's continued compliance and adapt policies and procedures accordingly.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
  10. Participate in internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for compliance purposes.
  11. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of governance, compliance, and contract management initiatives.
  12. Foster a culture of accountability and responsibility for compliance across all levels of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Governance, Compliance & Contract Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Laws And Regulations Related To Governance, Compliance, And Contract Management, Including But Not Limited To Sox, Hipaa, And Gdpr.

  • Experience In Contract Management: The Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Contract Management, Preferably In A Large Multinational Company. This Includes Drafting, Reviewing, And Negotiating Contracts, As Well As Managing Contract Renewals And Amendments.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Governance, Compliance & Contract Leader, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team And Driving Results. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members, Are Essential.

  • Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Governance, Compliance & Contract Leader Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Compliance With Regulations And Mitigate Potential Risks. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Being Detail-Oriented And Thorough In Their Work.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Legal, Finance, And Operations Teams. This Is Crucial For Managing And Negotiating Contracts Effectively And Ensuring Compliance Across The Organization.
