- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize logistics operations globally.
- Lead and manage the global logistics sourcing team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Conduct market analysis and research to identify potential new suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers and foster new partnerships to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand and address their logistics sourcing needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to ensure 3M remains competitive in the global logistics market.
- Set and track performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in global logistics sourcing.
- Prepare and present reports and updates to senior management on sourcing initiatives and results.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in the global logistics supply chain.
- Continuously monitor and control costs to ensure budget targets are met.
- Participate in regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Global Sourcing And Logistics Management.
Strong Understanding Of International Trade Regulations And Customs Procedures.
Proficiency In Logistics Software And Tools, Such As Sap, Tms, And Wms.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Diverse Team Across Different Regions And Cultures.
