- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to support 3M's business objectives and goals.
- Conduct market analysis and research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best quality and cost-effective materials and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, as well as resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements, and provide sourcing expertise and support to drive cost savings and efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, including conducting regular supplier audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement in the sourcing process.
- Manage and maintain supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with 3M's policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and optimize the sourcing process.
- Develop and maintain a network of potential suppliers to ensure a diverse and competitive supply base.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sourcing activities and performance metrics to senior management.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Global Sourcing And Procurement, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Technology Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Global Supply Chain Dynamics And Market Trends.
Demonstrated Experience In Negotiating Contracts And Managing Supplier Relationships.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
