  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve distribution processes and operations.
  2. Analyze current distribution processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, purchasing, and sales, to identify and implement process improvements.
  4. Monitor and track key performance indicators related to distribution, such as on-time delivery, lead times, and inventory levels.
  5. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with distribution standards and procedures.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as carriers and warehouses, to optimize distribution networks and services.
  7. Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact on distribution.
  8. Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, utilizing tools such as Lean Six Sigma to streamline processes and drive cost savings.
  9. Train and educate team members on new processes and procedures related to distribution improvement.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in distribution management to continuously improve processes.
  11. Develop and maintain distribution improvement budgets and report on progress and ROI to senior management.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that distribution processes align with business goals and objectives.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert for distribution improvement initiatives and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the distribution team.
  15. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Distribution Or Logistics Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Company.

  • Strong Understanding Of Distribution Processes, Including Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, And Transportation.

  • Proven Track Record Of Implementing Process Improvements And Cost-Saving Initiatives In A Distribution Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
