Job Description

As a Computational Linguist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Supporting clinical Natural Language Understanding (NLU) system by maintaining and improving grammars, parsers, and terminologies Extracting, manipulating, and analyzing textual data and annotations using Python and batch scripts. Determining solutions and priorities for NLU issues and enhancement requests. Implementing and testing solutions in coordination with clinical, technical, and business teams.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with grammars and parsing, corpus analysis

  • 4 years of related experience is required

  • Experience/education with medical coding and documentation or healthcare informatics

  • Experience with data annotation AND/OR medical coding and documentation.

  • Experience handling/transforming different formats including HTML, XML, JSON

  • Experience with GitHub (merge/resolve conflicts) or other version control
