Job Description

The person hired for the position of Automation Engineer will work in an FDA regulated manufacturing facility that makes complex small components for the dental and orthodontic industry. Leads development and implementation of automation solutions related to safety, quality, service, cycle time, and cost (productivity). Identify automation opportunities throughout the plant. Evaluate probability of success and the benefit. Prepare project scopes of work, preliminary design concepts, specification, and cost estimates. Conduct field acceptance testing at the vendor locations. Coordinate facility, installation, startup and debug of equipment.
