At Zendesk, we are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Staff Software Engineer (DevOps) to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a knack for problem-solving. As a Staff Software Engineer (DevOps), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing our DevOps platform and our cloud-based infrastructure.We are looking for a candidate with strong technical and interpersonal skills, including:• In-depth knowledge of DevOps and cloud-based architectures• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams• Expertise in scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, and Bash• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes• Ability to develop automated processes to manage system operations• Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively• Experience in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)• Experience with cloud-based infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudIf you’re a creative problem-solver who is passionate about technology and is looking to make an impact, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and manage the DevOps platform and cloud-based infrastructure.
Utilize scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, and Bash to build automated processes for system operations.
Apply containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes to manage system operations.
Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
Work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams to develop solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues quickly and effectively.
Monitor cloud-based infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
