As a Staff Software Engineer- Data Platform at Zendesk, you will be the technical leader for the design, development, and delivery of the core data platform components. You will be responsible for developing high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that enable Zendesk to make timely, data-driven decisions.We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated engineer who is passionate about building software that solves challenging data problems. Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and delivery of core data platform components.
Develop high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that enable Zendesk to make data-driven decisions.
Utilize software engineering principles to build software that solves challenging data problems.
Design and develop data-driven solutions using distributed systems, machine learning, and data engineering.
Troubleshoot and solve complex data problems.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Provide guidance and support to other engineers to ensure quality.
Remain current on new technologies and trends related to data engineering and software engineering.
