Are you a Senior Software Engineer with experience in Ruby on Rails development? Are you passionate about creating user-centric products and services?We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Users to join the Zendesk team and help build and maintain our user-focused products and services. Our ideal candidate should possess excellent Ruby on Rails engineering skills, be an enthusiastic team player, and have a passion for creating user-focused products. As a Senior Software Engineer - Users at Zendesk, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-focused products and services for our customers. You will collaborate with a diverse group of engineers, product managers, and designers, leveraging your expertise in Ruby on Rails to ensure that our products and services meet the highest standards of excellence.To be successful in this role, you should have:- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience- Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails- Knowledge of web technologies and development best practices- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsIf you have a passion for creating user-centric products and services, and you meet the above criteria, then we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain user-focused products and services for customers.
Collaborate with diverse engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure products and services meet the highest standards of excellence.
Troubleshoot and problem-solve customer issues.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
Utilize Ruby on Rails engineering skills to build and maintain user-focused products.
Stay up-to-date on emerging web technologies and development best practices.
Monitor product performance to identify and address potential issues.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Research and recommend new tools and technologies.
