Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions using Go / Golang.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and product enhancements.
Understand and analyze complex business requirements, and provide technical solutions to meet them.
Contribute to the overall technical architecture and design of the Zendesk software platform.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner.
Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in software development, and actively share knowledge and ideas with the team.
Mentor and coach junior team members, and help them grow their technical skills.
Continuously monitor and improve the performance, security, and reliability of our software.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and user-friendly product experience.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
Take ownership of projects and initiatives, and proactively drive them to completion.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture, and embody Zendesk's values of empathy, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Go / Golang: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Go / Golang Programming Language, Its Features, And Best Practices. They Should Also Have A Proven Track Record Of Using Go To Develop Complex, Scalable And High-Performance Applications.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Software Engineer, The Ability To Analyze Complex Problems And Come Up With Creative Solutions Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Problem-Solving Mindset And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Debug Code Efficiently.
Proficient In Software Development Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Agile Software Development Methodologies And Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced, Collaborative Environment. They Should Also Have Experience With Test-Driven Development (Tdd) And Continuous Integration (Ci).
Experience With Cloud Technologies: Zendesk Is A Cloud-Based Customer Service Platform, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Cloud Technologies Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud. They Should Also Be Familiar With Containerization Technologies Like Docker And Kubernetes.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Senior Software Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Other Team Members, Including Product Managers, Designers, And Other Developers.
