At Zendesk, we are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) to join our team and help us continue to build great products for our customers. We are seeking an experienced engineer who is passionate about automation, infrastructure, operations, and the customer experience. This is a great opportunity to work with the latest technologies and join a team of accomplished engineers who are committed to creating amazing experiences for our customers.The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on DevOps. They will have a strong background in automation, scripting, and deployment, as well as an understanding of cloud-based technologies. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a self-starter mentality. They will have the ability to work well with cross functional teams and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.We are looking for someone who is excited to join a rapidly growing company and contribute to our success. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automation and deployment processes for our products and services.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations and customer experiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of our products and services.
Ensure that customer-facing systems are working properly and scaling with demand.
Develop and maintain scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and identify areas of improvement.
Document processes and procedures for team members.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in DevOps.
Contribute to the overall success of the organization.
