  1. Develop and execute IT strategic plans to support Zendesk's overall growth and success.
  2. Lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans.
  3. Identify and assess current and future technology needs and make recommendations for improvements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and align IT strategies accordingly.
  5. Evaluate and manage risks associated with IT initiatives and develop contingency plans.
  6. Monitor industry trends and advancements in technology to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  7. Provide guidance and direction to IT team members on best practices for strategic planning and project management.
  8. Communicate IT strategy and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  9. Manage project budgets and ensure timely and cost-effective execution of IT initiatives.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support IT strategy implementation.
  11. Continuously review and improve IT processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Stay informed of regulatory and compliance requirements to ensure IT strategies are in alignment.
  13. Mentor and coach team members to support their professional growth and development.
  14. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  15. Represent Zendesk as a thought leader in the IT industry through networking and participation in conferences and events.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In It Strategic Planning: A Senior Manager At Zendesk Must Possess At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In It Strategic Planning, With A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Strategies For Large Organizations.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Senior Manager, The Candidate Must Have Exceptional Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of It Professionals. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing Budgets, Allocating Resources, And Setting Clear Objectives For The Team.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of It Industry Trends And Best Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Latest It Industry Trends And Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Emerging Technologies, Agile Methodologies, And Data-Driven Decision-Making Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Manager, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders, And Build Strong Relationships With Internal And External Partners.
