  1. Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP and company standards.
  2. Monitor and review revenue transactions to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, and finance, to ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue.
  4. Review and approve customer contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition.
  5. Analyze and interpret complex revenue agreements to determine appropriate accounting treatment.
  6. Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries and account reconciliations.
  7. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to revenue recognition.
  8. Identify and resolve revenue-related discrepancies and issues.
  9. Stay current on accounting standards and regulations related to revenue recognition.
  10. Train and mentor team members on revenue recognition principles and processes.
  11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and departments.
  12. Assist with external audits related to revenue recognition.
  13. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve revenue recognition processes and systems.
  14. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
  15. Ensure compliance with all internal controls related to revenue recognition.
  16. Proactively identify and communicate potential risks or issues related to revenue recognition.
  17. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the accounting operations function.
  18. Adhere to strict confidentiality standards and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  19. Lead and manage a team of revenue recognition specialists.
  20. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Revenue Recognition, Preferably In A Software Or Technology Company.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Asc 606 And Other Relevant Accounting Standards.

  • Experience Managing A Team And Overseeing Day-To-Day Accounting Operations.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Complex Revenue Recognition Issues.
