Job Description

At Zendesk, we're on a mission to make customer service easier and more effective. We’re looking for a Lead UX Researcher who is passionate about uncovering insights from customer feedback and transforming them into tangible improvements for our products.As a Lead UX Researcher, you will be responsible for leading a team of UX Researchers to help uncover customer needs, identify opportunities, and develop product solutions that meet customer expectations. You will be a key part of the product development lifecycle, working closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineers.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for user experience research and the ability to leverage customer feedback to inform product decisions. You should also be comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and have a proven ability to lead and mentor a team.We are looking for a Lead UX Researcher who is organized, creative, and passionate about understanding customers and transforming their feedback into meaningful product improvements. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of UX Researchers to uncover customer needs and identify opportunities for product improvements.
  2. Develop research plans and execute user experience research activities.
  3. Analyze customer feedback and synthesize research findings to inform product decisions.
  4. Work collaboratively with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to ensure successful product delivery.
  5. Mentor and guide UX Researchers to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  6. Stay abreast of UX research trends and best practices.
  7. Develop actionable insights from customer feedback.
  8. Provide clear and concise written/verbal reports to internal stakeholders.
  9. Manage the UX research budget and ensure resources are used efficiently.
