Job Description

  1. Develop and maintain effective identity and access management (IAM) processes to ensure the security and efficiency of Zendesk's business systems.
  2. Analyze and evaluate existing IAM processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance overall system performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for IAM processes.
  4. Monitor and report on IAM system performance, identifying and addressing any issues or vulnerabilities.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in IAM, and make recommendations for new tools and technologies to enhance Zendesk's security measures.
  6. Communicate and educate stakeholders on IAM processes, policies, and procedures, and provide training as needed.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation for IAM processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  8. Work closely with other teams, such as IT and security, to ensure alignment and compliance with overall security policies and protocols.
  9. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to implement and maintain IAM solutions.
  10. Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks related to IAM processes and systems.
  11. Participate in audits and regulatory compliance activities related to IAM, providing necessary documentation and support.
  12. Continuously review and improve IAM processes to align with changing business needs and industry standards.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert for IAM processes and systems, providing guidance and support to other team members as needed.
  14. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any IAM-related issues or incidents.
  15. Contribute to the development and implementation of overall security strategy and roadmap for Zendesk.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Fast-Paced, Agile Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Identity And Access Management (Iam) Principles And Industry Best Practices.

  • Demonstrated Experience With Iam Tools Such As Okta, Onelogin, Or Ping Identity.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
