You will also be responsible for handling complex employee issues and providing guidance to managers and HR teams on best practices for handling employee relations matters.We are looking for a dynamic and empathetic leader who is able to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law and experience in managing employee relations in a fast-paced and diverse environment.   1. Develop and implement strategies and policies to promote positive workplace relationships and employee engagement.
  2. Handle complex employee issues and provide guidance to managers and HR teams on best practices for handling employee relations matters.
  3. Shape and maintain the company's culture through effective leadership and relationship building.
  4. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  5. Build trust and rapport with employees at all levels.
  6. Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to identify and address potential employee relations issues.
  7. Conduct investigations and make recommendations for resolution of employee complaints.
  8. Provide coaching and training to managers on effective employee relations practices.
  9. Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  10. Monitor and analyze employee relations data and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in employee relations.
  12. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including employees, managers, and leadership.
  13. Foster a culture of open communication and conflict resolution.
  14. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve employee relations processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Employee Relations: A Director, Employee Relations At Zendesk Should Have A Strong Background In Handling Various Employee Relations Issues, Such As Conflict Resolution, Performance Management, And Workplace Investigations.

  • Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Employment Laws And Regulations. This Includes Knowledge Of Anti-Discrimination Laws, Labor Laws, And Other Relevant Legislation.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Director, Employee Relations, Effective Communication Skills Are Crucial. This Individual Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Concisely With Employees At All Levels, As Well As With Management And Other Stakeholders.

  • Proven Leadership Abilities: A Director, Employee Relations Should Have Experience Leading A Team And Managing Complex Employee Relations Issues. This Includes The Ability To Provide Guidance And Support To Hr Professionals And Other Team Members.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: Zendesk Values Individuals Who Can Think Critically And Strategically. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Employee Relations Issues And Develop Effective Solutions That Align With The Company's Goals And Values.
