Haute Couture Seamstress

We are looking for an exceptional Haute Couture Seamstress to join the Yves Saint Laurent team. This position requires a highly skilled individual with experience in hand-sewing and couture techniques, who takes pride in their work and is passionate about creating exquisite garments. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an artistic flair and the ability to interpret design concepts and develop these into finished garments.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of professional experience in the fashion industry, preferably in a high-end couture environment. They should be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge of traditional French couture techniques and have a good understanding of couture construction and garment fit. They should also have a good knowledge of fabrics, trimmings and embellishments.This is a challenging role and the successful candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated to work with Yves Saint Laurent’s renowned design team to produce timeless and innovative garments. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all garments are of the highest standard and meet both the team's and YSL’s exacting standards.
