Physical & Wellness Director

Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate all wellness programs, personal trainers, group fitness, and wellness center staff.Staff evaluations. Develop, plan, and implement all wellness programs existing and new programs, to enhance the offerings of the YMCA.This includes but is not limited to the area of aerobic activities and senior citizen programming as well as special events. Serve as main contact/liaison to Insurance program partners including but not limited to Tivity Health, American Specialty and Health, Renew Active, Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA). Bill appropriate outside partners (i.e. Tivity, ASH, Renew Active, PEIA) for services rendered in a timely fashion and monitor payment receipts to ensure prompt payment. Develop, enhance, and maintain services of theWellnessCenter.This includes but is not restricted to equipment maintenance and repair, propose new equipment acquisitions, Wellness Center operations, and staff services.Oversee and direct the development, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of the personal training program, as well as, conduct one-on-one and group personal training sessions. Share in staff team responsibilities for the operation of the total YMCA program and facilities.
