
Health Center Technician
Oversee all health screens and documentation of health screens for all campers and complete within 24 hours of arrival. Respond to all accidents, render aid, call for medical assistance and notify Program Director or Camp Director. Administer daily medications as required. Gather, review and organize medical forms and medications during resident camp check-in. Communicate procedures to parents and campers, and address any concerns. Create and maintain accurate record-keeping system of all medical forms, health information and medicine distribution and medical treatment logs. Keep all medical equipment (including all first aid kits) stocked and ready for response. Under the Supervision of the Program Director contact parents regarding health concerns with their child.
Minimum of 1 year experience working with children in an Overnight Camp, Day Camp or similar setting.
Ability to work with groups of campers ages 5-16, as well as parents and staff of diverse populations.
Background in health care or lifeguarding and first aid.
Must be able to live on-site during program season
