Security Analyst II

1. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks within our systems and networks.
2. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the protection of company data and systems.
3. Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures to mitigate identified risks.
5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging threats to continuously improve our security posture.
6. Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on best practices for information security.
7. Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanning tools.
8. Investigate and report on security incidents and breaches, and make recommendations for remediation.
9. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
10. Conduct risk assessments and assist with compliance efforts, such as HIPAA and GDPR.
11. Communicate and collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of shared systems and data.
12. Act as a subject matter expert on security-related matters and provide guidance and support to other members of the IT team.
13. Document security processes, procedures, and incidents for future reference and to aid in continuous improvement efforts.
14. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
15. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security incident response plans.
