- Design and implement landscape plans for the university's campus, including new outdoor spaces and renovations of existing landscapes.
- Collaborate with university stakeholders, such as faculty and facilities management, to understand their needs and incorporate them into landscape designs.
- Conduct site analyses and research to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with university policies and regulations.
- Utilize sustainable practices and principles in all landscape designs and projects.
- Manage and oversee the installation and maintenance of landscape elements, including plants, trees, and hardscape features.
- Monitor and evaluate the health and condition of existing landscapes, and develop plans for maintenance and restoration as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in landscape architecture to continuously improve and enhance the university's outdoor spaces.
- Work with contractors and vendors to procure materials and services for landscape projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to ensure successful project completion.
- Develop and manage budgets for landscape projects and maintain accurate records of expenses.
- Represent the university in public forums and engage with the community to promote and showcase the campus's landscapes.
- Uphold the university's standards of excellence in all landscape design and maintenance efforts.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Landscape Architecture From An Accredited University.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Landscape Design And Planning, Preferably In An Academic Or Institutional Setting.
Proficient In Autocad, Adobe Creative Suite, And Other Relevant Design Software.
Strong Understanding Of Sustainable Design Principles And Leed Certification.
Excellent Communication, Project Management, And Team Collaboration Skills.
